Building Services Authority (BSA) is a statutory authority established under the Queensland Building Services Authority Act 1991.
BSA's charter is to regulate the building industry through the licensing of contractors, educate consumers about their rights and obligations, make contractors aware of their legal rights and responsibilities, handle disputes fairly and equitably, protect consumers against loss through statutory insurance, implement and enforce legislative reforms and where necessary prosecute persons not complying with the law. On 25 May 2009 BSA immediately suspended the licence of the above company. BSA would like to advise that the suspension of the above licensee in NO WAY AFFECTS THE LICENCE OF CORAL HOMES PTY LTD (Licence No: 50792) or CORAL HOMES (QLD) PTY LTD (Licence No: 1014053).

Advertising Campaign - LAUNCHED 23 APRIL 2009
Public Works Minister Robert Schwarten launched BSA's major public awareness campaign centering around the message - Now is a great time for Queenslanders to build or renovate, but if your tradie can't show you their licence - show them the door!
The campaign centres around two television commercials that are airing throughout Qld until mid-July. The Sunday Mail on 10 May contained the booklet -"Want to know how to build better?" - Click here to view

Consumer Seminars - Smart Building and Renovating
