BSA/Construction Skills Queensland Education Seminars 09 - 10 Coming to Regional Queensland

“BSA/CSQ Contractor Education Seminars” - New dates for Regional Queensland.

It’s your opportunity to update your building know-how absolutely FREE. Bring your staff! Bring your subbies! Enjoy the company while you learn.

All sessions commence at 3.00pm and end at 6.00pm. Afternoon tea will be served.

3.00pm Registration/Tea and Coffee
3.15pm - 4.00pm The Building Game - How to survive it in challenging times.  A session for all contractors, regardless of your business knowledge, where independent financial experts show you how to create a winning strategy for your business. Maximise your chance of survival in these tough times and learn how to maximise free cash flow, manage performance and keep an eye on the bottom line.
4.00pm -5.00pm Timber Framing - Timber framing forms the structural skeleton of the majority of homes built in Queensland.  Defects in the construction of timber frames is the single most common defect identified during certifier inspections.  Presented by Timber Queensland, this session provides practical advice to assist you learn to eradicate these defects through best practice timber framing methods.
5.00pm - 6.00pm Floor Tiling - Presented by a tiling expert, this session explores best practice tiling methods to avoid tiling defects and details the requirements of the new Australian Standard AS3958.1, the industry guide to good installation practice.
