Updating Your Details
A Change of Particulars form - Building Certifiers should be lodged if you want to:

  • Change the level of your licence
  • Add or change an endorsement
  • Change particulars such as address or contact details

    Is a fee charged?
    An application fee applies for changes in level carried out at any time other than at time of renewal. No fee applies if there is no change to level of licence or endorsement of the licence.

    Do any documents have to be supplied other than the form?
    Documents to be supplied with the form are:

  • Copy of your current AIBS accreditation certificate or if licensed by way of mutual recognition - evidence that you have maintained accreditation in the first state
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance Certificate (for Private Certifier Endorsement only)
  • Course certificate - “Issuing Developments Permits for Building Work” - for Endorsement to issue Development Approvals (to perform this function as a Private Certifier)
  • Declaration signed by Justice of the Peace/Commissioner for Declarations
