Contractor to nominee supervisor
To change licence grade from contractor to nominee supervisor you must complete a Request to Change Licence Grade form and return it to BSA. An adjustment to your annual licence fee, reflecting this change in grade, will be incorporated into your next renewal fee.
Nominee Supervisor to contractor
If changing from a nominee supervisor to contractor grade you must complete a Request to Change Licence Grade form. In addition, you will need to satisfy the Financial Requirements for Licensing and hold the required assets for the anticipated turnover. An adjustment to your annual licence fee, reflecting this change in grade, will be incorporated into your next renewal fee.
If you will have a turnover of $300,000 or less you can provide a declaration using the Request to Change Licence Grade form. Where your turnover will exceed this amount you must provide either an Independent Review Report or an Audit Report, depending on your anticipated turnover. Further information on these financial requirements is available in the Financial Requirements for Licensing section.
Contractor or Nominee Supervisor to Site Supervisor
There is no need for a holder of a Contractor or Nominee Supervisor to change the grade of their licence to that of a Site Supervisor. However, if the change is requested, the Request to Change Licence Grade form must be completed. The holder of a Site Supervisor licence cannot change it to a Contractor or Nominee Supervisor licence. Please read the information statement LIS-025 Change of Grade to Site Supervisor for more information.
