Paying over the phone
You are encouraged to use our Phone Pay facility to pay your premium amounts. To access Phone Pay you must:
  • Have a Personal Identification Number (PIN) - call 1300 272 272 to speak to an operator and order a PIN which will be posted to you
  • Once the PIN arrives contact 1300 272 272 and select the Home Warranty Insurance option - you will be required to enter your and licence number and our four digit PIN
  • Provide all the requested information (owner details, lot and plan number, site address, value of contract, contract signing date, description of work)

    Payment can be made using credit card (Mastercard or Visa) or by direct debit. Note - a direct debit must be set up at least 24 hours before accessing Phone Pay. Complete and return the Direct Debit Request form.

    This service operates Monday to Friday from 7.00am to 5.00pm and the confirmation is faxed on the same day of payment. You are able to request that the confirmation is faxed directly to the certifier.

    Applicants and PIN's
    If you have applied for a licence in a class that may require you to pay insurance (see -
    When Home Warranty should be Paid) you are unable apply for a PIN until your application has been granted. You will be able to obtain a PIN as soon as your application is approved and you have been granted a licence number.

    Companies and PIN's
    A PIN is specific to a licence number therefore an individual PIN can not be used by a company. If you operate a company you will need to request a PIN specifically under your company licence number.

    Lost PIN?
    If you have lost or forgotten your PIN you must request a new one prior to using Phone Pay. The old PIN will be cancelled and can not be used even if found. You will normally be issued with your new PIN within 24 hours.

    Paying by mail
    Complete and return an Insurance Notification Form
    (INF) enclosing payment (cheque only - NOT cash). This form is INTERACTIVE - you can either print a hard copy and manually complete the form electronically (type in responses) and print.  Note - Adobe WILL NOT save a version of the form.  If you close down before you print, you will lose all information.  Please note that you may receive a message advising that the form will not display properly.  Should this occur, click OK.  It will not affect the form's ability to be printed.

    The confirmation of insurance can be returned to you or your chosen certifier.

    Note - BSA will NOT accept faxed copies of INF's.

    Paying at the counter
    A completed Insurance Notification Form can be returned to your nearest office and payment can be made at the counter. You will be required to produce your BSA licence and drivers licence.

    If the insurance payment is being lodged by your representative, we will need the following:

    1. Your BSA licence card.
    2.
    A letter from you, on letterhead, authorising the lodgement of insurance for that specific job.
    3. Your representative's drivers licence


    Note - Insurance payments lodged at regional offices will take up to 5 days to process.

    The confirmation of insurance can be returned to you or your chosen certifier.
